Doorstops / Barnsnake question

Jim,
You had mentioned to me recently that you installed some door stops. Could you provide the info here on how you did that? I incorrectly thought the new design had something incorporated. It does not and hinge still hits the body for the "stop".

Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures before I walled them in with the sill fillers. I've cobbled-up a little drawing that may be enough to show you the idea.
The drawing is a top-down view of a cross-section of the cowl bar at the hinge location. I located the bumper where it would be perpendicular to the hinge when it contacted. Let me know if there are any questions I can answer to clarify.
