For seven years Lone Star Classics has declined to increase its kit pricing while other similar manufactures have increased their pricing in most cases three times.  We have achieved what was a said impossible and exceeded expectation.  The primary reason that allowed us to continue so long with out increasing our prices is a direct result of NO ADVERTISING EXPENSE.  As you all are aware, when you purchase something, a portion of its price goes towards the box it came in, the rent, and the advertising associated with the product or store.  In Lone Star’s case, we are debt free and have not paid for advertising in 5 years.  The old quote that says “you get what you pay for” is still true.  If you do the comparisons you will see that the Lone Star kit is more complete than the rest and no matter the kit, they all need the same parts in the end to be completed.  Only difference is with us, a portion of your money did not pay for zillions of magazine ads.      

Due to an unprecedented increase in cost by most of our vendors we have little choice but to increase the price of our kits. 

As courteously to those interested parties, please note that effective February 1st, 2007 the following kit packages will be subject to a $1,000 (5.5%) increase in price.

Any deposits ($2,000) placed prior to February 1st will be guaranteed the current rate for 90 days.  We understand that this may catch some of our spring buyers by surprise, so customers with orders in place have a 90 day window they can decide from which they can accept their kit and pay their balance.  This will allow customers to still get their ducks in a row.
