Pegues-Hurst Motor Co.
Here’s a shout out for the Pegues-Hurst Motor Co. in Longview, Texas. Leon Soui –Shop Forman has been overseeing his student technicians in the building of an LS427. Photographed standing along side Mr. Soui are Student Technicians: Aliscia Scott, Paula McKinney, & Ryan Freeman.
Pegues is offering this class to allow students the opportunity to lean the basics of automotive work in a fun and professional environment. They are installing one of Roush’s high performance 351 Windsor race bread engines. Once completed, this LS427 will mean business! I personally looked their work over and can testify that they are doing an A-class job!
The dealership will be selling this car once completed so if you’re interested give them a call. With the exposure this car is getting I wouldn’t expect it to last long. I heard they would consider a deposit order to hold it and its buyer may even get to choose the paint color! Interested? Call Parts/Service Director: Scott Owens at 1-800-657-5211

Thanks!

Lone Star Classics website evolves.
Like the Phoenix, the LSC website has been reborn into a worthy representation of our products. Tons of info, hundreds of new pics, exciting downloads, & a new forum devoted strictly to LSC customers really makes for a fun & informing source of information. If you are considering the purchase of a component kit car the best advice I can give you is to review ALL that is available on this site. We have gone to great lengths to help aid you in making the best educated decision possible. We are very upfront with facts, details, and offer sound advice based on 15 years of experience.
There was a time where we were in your shoes, looking for the right kit, searching (fishing) for information, and comparing. This project should be fun from beginning to end. If there is something more you would like to see please don’t hesitate to let us know. brian@lonestarclassics.com

Dealers/Builders wanted/needed!
Surprisingly Ford dealerships have shown great interests in LS40 turnkeys for use as a display model. With the new Ford GT averaging $225,000 it only makes since. If they can display their name on a 60s style GT40 replica with a Ford Focus Z-etec engine, of course traffic and sales will be increased. Only 10 (factory built) turnkey LS40 orders will be taken by Lone Star.
Manufacturing and shipping kits is a full time job in itself. In order to maintain our reputation for short lead times we must devote all of our attention on kits. Considering the extreme low cost of turnkey LS40s it is easy to see how we would be completely swamped if we were to offer them on a full time basis. To accommodate those of you wanting turnkeys please contact us for details of the first ten currently being built or about locating a dealer/builder nearest to you. For those interested in becoming a dealer/builder please contact us for details.
